behindthewallofsleep asked: I read dispatches as part of my dissertation research last year, it's by a long way my favourite non-fiction book. It's nuts reading through it and picking out which bits were obviously used as inspiration for various films and followed to such accuracy. I might read it again soon actually, I still feel as if I missed some bits.
